Welcome!
This website is dedicated to my favorite book, The Virginian, by Owen Wister, and to the television series inspired by it, which aired on NBC from 1962 - 1971. It is also my personal tribute to James Drury, who, in my opinion, was the ideal choice to portray Wister's hero.
